The Marketing/Administrative Assistant is a role that requires strong organization skills and a desire to possess a thorough knowledge of the logistics and transportation industry. An ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of branding and marketing tools. The candidate will have knowledge/experience in administration including advanced utilization of Excel with the ability to manipulate and interpret information from multiple datasets.
MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITIES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
o Create and execute marketing plan including email marketing campaign.
o Develop and maintain website, including social media, with ongoing analysis and interpretation of SEO metrics.
o Design and produce marketing materials including brochures, press releases, and advertisements.
o Coordinates with vendors who provide marketing products, services, and materials.
o Re-design PowerPoint templates for presentations and general in-house use.
o Coordinate and assist with the design of specific presentations for customers/prospects and events including graphic enhancements in proposals.
o Compile, create and maintain various reports, databases and charts in MS WORD and Excel.
o Create correspondence, presentations, organize and maintain files.
o Assist in special and ad-hoc projects related to Company activities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field; Advanced technical knowledge of MS PowerPoint and MS Excel; Knowledge of Desktop Publishing and Adobe Photoshop; experience/knowledge of online marketing tools; previous administrative and marketing experience of business-to-business services.
Candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to present ideas in a concise and impactful fashion, and strong interpersonal skills.
