With rising diesel prices, customers are looking for more cost effective ways to ship and receive raw materials and finished goods. Valley’s distribution centers are serviced by two Class 1 Railroads, Canadian Pacific Railway and Norfolk Southern Railway. Coupled with Valley’s transloading with inbound and outbound storage and trucking capabilities, the railways provide an opportunity for transportation savings and an intermodal dock at Taylor for container freight. Located in our Scranton, Pennsylvania facility, Valley also offers the largest indoor rail siding which has a 12 car capacity.
We also have an intermodal dock at Taylor for container freight.
