Our Company

In 1953, John J. Passan founded City Delivery Service with just one truck to pick up and deliver shoppers’ packages from downtown Wilkes-Barre straight to their doorsteps. Just one year later Mr. Passan expanded CDS into the warehousing business, Valley Distributing & Storage Company. Today the company owns and manages over two million square feet of third party warehousing and a truckload fleet providing regional and brokerage transportation services across the U.S.
